Goodbye stress - Understanding stress and how to reduce it

Enough with stress!

Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that facilitate rapid communication between our nerve cells.

Nowadays, many people suffer from chronic stress without adequate relief. We all know this isn't healthy. However, sometimes we don't have the luxury of taking long breaks due to our commitments. It's good to know about a "secret weapon" that can help us through particularly tough times. Fortunately, nature has provided us with some powerful solutions. Let's introduce you to a particularly effective combination.

GABA

GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) is one of the most important inhibitory neurotransmitters in the brain. This means GABA helps the body relax. It is crucial for sleep, highlighting its essential role in the body.1

Chemically, GABA is classified as a non-proteinogenic amino acid1. Unlike proteinogenic amino acids, which form proteins in the body, non-proteinogenic amino acids do not. They have more hormone-like functions in the body.

It's no surprise that GABA can significantly calm the body. In low doses, it is used as a calming agent. It can help reduce anxiety and depressive moods.2

Tryptophan

Tryptophan is a proteinogenic amino acid. It stands out because it is crucial for both the gut and the brain. Tryptophan is a key building block for serotonin, the "happiness hormone."3

Supplementing with tryptophan during stressful times can be very beneficial. It helps promote calmness, better sleep, and alleviates depressive moods. Additionally, it supports the gut, which contains 90% of the body's serotonin.4

P-5-P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate)

P-5-P might sound complex, but it's simply a special form of Vitamin B6. This particular form of Vitamin B6 is used directly by the liver for detoxification. This means P-5-P is readily available for immediate use by the body, as it doesn't need to be converted into its active form in the liver.5

P-5-P is an energy booster. It reduces fatigue and exhaustion and supports liver function, which can improve sleep quality. It is also vital for nerve health.6

Recognizing that many people are familiar with particularly stressful periods, we've created something for you: all three substances are available in our product NN Neurotrans® Capsules.

Neurotrans

So, say goodbye to stress today!
